国庆日

国庆日对于一些人来说 是
很重要的日子
特别是对于那些爱国之人
到底何谓爱国呢？
是不是所有把国旗用来
当自己房子或者车子装饰品的人
就算是个爱国的子民呢？
虽然我并不是个Patriotic的人
可是我也不会随随便便就把
那原本很“尊贵”的国旗拿来当装饰品咯

还记得 小的时候
每次国庆日就会七早八早的爬起床
然后看电视转播在独立广场的国庆庆典
有很多花车游行啦
又有军队marching啦 etc.
小时候觉得每一年的庆典都很了不起 好好看哦

之后比较大了一点
就没再七早八早爬起床看电视转播
而是在8月30日，快要12点之际
打开电视机 看转播的倒数庆典
就短短的十多，二十秒而已
还真得蛮无聊的

可是随着年龄的增长
反之觉得国庆日罢了嘛
没什么大不了
日子还不是照样的过

对于还在过去还在念小学或者中学的自己
每年国庆日最好的是又放假咯~
然后就是可以“出街”玩的时候到咯~
所谓“出街”玩就是抢购便宜货
老妈总是认为说
所有促销必定是在国庆当日才会有
所以每次国庆日都会出外购物去

到后来念大学了
国庆日根本就不想踏出家门
我才不想浪费时间去找停车位
在人山人海的百货公司里逛街
那既不是在折磨我自己吗？
人逼人的 很讨厌

让我印象最深刻的国庆日
应该是在我中五的时候
如果没记错的话
那时候凑巧在国庆日之际
有PMR的考试
所以我们都有班归不得
必须被安排到别的可是去上课
在某一个时段
校方会通过PA system播一些国庆日的歌曲
校方还特地准备了几首歌的歌词派给我们
让我们可以看着歌词唱哦~

还记得有一次
我和朋友才要在下课后赶回班上
突然就听到广播在播着国庆日的歌
所以我们就停在一边 在别人的课室外面
大大声地跟着广播唱歌
还蛮傻的

真得很怀念再生母女中念中学的日子
虽然很多很重要的记忆我都忘了
可是我会尽量得想起来
那么美好的记忆怎么可以忘了呢~

真搞不懂我的记忆功能到底怎么了

想说一定有什么方法可以改变着问题
真得让我找到这么一本书

只不过

我现在看的话
未免太早了点吧？

回忆录（一）

今天吃玩乐Domino's Pizza后

Jo兴致勃勃说要唱K
所以我就到处找以前在怡保家的麦克风
好不容易才找到它
谁知道Jo唱完两首歌就跑掉了
所以我就继续自己一个人唱咯
唱了好多以前很喜欢听的歌
都是些旧歌
例如，王菲，苏慧伦etc

我都差点忘了小时候自己的偶像是王菲那时候应该还是小学二，三年级吧
看了王菲演的两套连续剧
《千岁情人》， 《原振侠》
就突然爱上她了
那时候觉得她很美很酷
其实她是气质型美女
之后看了《第六感奇缘之人鱼传说》
听了王菲唱的主题曲《天空》和《天使》

真的超爱她的声音

有一年我老哥送我的生日礼物是
王菲的《玩具》EP
不过当然是卡带啦
我超爱那张EP的
虽然里头的歌都并非出名的主打歌
可是首首都好好听哟
直到后来
王菲的曲风改变了之后
歌仍然是很好听
可是却不是我所喜欢的类型
所以就甚少听王菲的歌了

苏慧伦在98年的「失戀萬歲」（新歌＋精選）专辑
是我小学时期的最爱
那时候我应该是六年级
苏慧伦的歌
像当年可是超红的
去到哪都能听到她的歌
上了中学之后
就很少在听到她的声音了
或许是后浪推前浪吧
虽然到现在还是很喜欢她的歌
可是就觉得她的新歌没什么特色了
反之觉得新人的歌比较动听了

另外一个小时候的偶像是郭富城
他的《對你愛不完》唱片里头
都收录了很多手很好听的华语歌
几乎首首都那么得好听
奇怪的是
他当初在台湾很红
可是他的华语到今时今日还一样的不灵光

不过老实说 现在的我超级讨厌郭富城
就他穿衣的品味就足以让我喷饭
特别是他和张柏芝合演的Para Para Sakura
那段时间 真得搞不懂他的形象顾问怎么搞的
哈哈哈哈

C.O.L.E.Y

the nick name that i have been using for years
couldn't remember since when i start using it
just felt like it is kind of like forever i have been using it

a lot of people will be curious to ask me
what is the meaning of coley?
why am i using coley?

i have been repeating telling people
that's my gang name when i was in high school
the next question that i got was
"how did you all get this word, COLEY?"
the reason is as simple as
it's all our surname's initial
except for "E", as that's Emily's Christian Name initial
instead of her surname's C
there are totally nine of us

anyway i don't really know
how i got in the gang at the first place
lolx~
because i was not really very intimate to everybody
i was quite close to only few of them
just so happened that i sat next to them
being their neighbor
for one year or half a year during those high school years

COLEY gang always has a lot of gathering
since form 4
but i am not always present most of the time
perhaps only 2-3 times out of 10 times
especially ever since i start my uni life in KL
i only able to catch up with them once a year
or not even once every year

always have the feeling that
we are from quite a different world
because they have some common friends
that i never heard of them before
i never meet their BFs before
i never really being friend with their BFs
since i seldom joining them for gathering
anyway sometimes i really felt like
i am totally an outcast in the gang
however i still feel grateful that
they had pull me in for no reason
lolx
if it's not for this reason
i don't think i will be meeting them again
because they are always busy or not around
therefore also seldom joining in the class gathering

the first gathering that i have ever joined them
i guess was the time
when we had BBQ in swanee's house
it was fun and crazy~
we kind of like shouting
to the shop lots opposite swanee's house
when that shop selling pirated CDs
they are playing music extra loudly
hahaha.. then we took a walk around the area
after we finished eating our BBQ-ed food
ipoh is such a safe place those time~
hahaha

CNY is the most often gathering period for COLEY
however i am not always able to join them
just for one or two years
and most of time
we will be hanging out at Toot's place or Em's place
i still remember there was once
we had a Roasted Lamb Feast in Toot's place
her younger brother, Jack was the Chef-of-the-day
he is a funny guy though
of course just eating the lamb
was not enough to fill all of our stomachs
since that time was the CNY time
so we order delivery for Prosperity Burger~!
that was my first time of eating Prosperity Burger
yummy~~~

then there was one time
Em had her birthday party held in her house
all of us as well as our classmates were there
and also Em's families and friends
we had a great time there
and since i am one of the COLEY
i was at her house few hours earlier than others
just to hang out and chit chat~
her house is not ordinary big
but it's gigantic for me
lolx~
just the living room alone
is already my house's first floor area

anyway the good news is
the next gathering is coming!
it will be in September
19th and 20th of September
it will be held in Toot's place in KL
anyway i am expecting to meet everybody again
too bad that lin couldn't make it
fei may not able to make it
and swanee and em surely not possible to make it
so just left 4 of us
hopefully i wont be bored with
a lot of unknown names coming out again
during our conversations
muahahahaha =P

simplest theory

there are times whereby people always telling you that they are busy
they are too busy until they have no time to meet up with you
they are too busy until you hardly heard from them
they are too busy and yet they still able to hang out with their other friends
there is only one reason to explain all these
you're not that important for them
at least for now
even if you used to be hanging out often
used to be having a lot of fun together
they just couldn't remember you
when they really have the leisure time to hang out

there is no right or wrong on these
because time flies
and people changed
everybody's priorities have changed
everybody just have to move on
what we can do is just to cherish them
wishing them they are living happily with their life now
and just say hello when the fate is meant to be
for us to meet up or hang out

friendship is still there even if you seldom meet up with your friends
because FRIENDSHIP FOREVER
does really mean something
and we are not saying it out just literally to show to our friends
that we do appreciate the friendships we are having
we do really think and agree that
FRIENDSHIP is going to last forever

just that the feeling is not the same anymore
cause you will find that you know nothing about your friends anymore
if you never really get in touch with them once in a while
then you may feel like it's going to take forever
for you to try to understand and get to KNOW them again

C'est la vie
Life still goes on

Bubba Lunch

since Maria & her family is coming over to KL

so i get the chance to hang out with her
luckily i did not have any class on that day
thank god for that
but then mana tau when i was there
Maria told me she is cabut-ing with her IMU friends around 2pm

so i was stunned
cause i planned to be there for few hours
and she just tell me that
she is going to One U with her other friends after lunch
so initially i was thinking
i have to shopping alone in sunway pyramid
before i heading home around 5 sth
we couldn't make up our mind on what to eat for lunch
so again, we are referring to the Directory Board
the first shop we headed to was Shogun
because i knew that they are having lunch promotion at 35%
who knows when we were there
the queue is like damn looong
and ambiance inside there was super hectic
so we waited for a while
to see whether there is any table available
anyway since of the stupidity of the waiter
we chose to leave the restaurant
without checking the table availability

so we headed for Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. instead
i heard food there are very nice
but the price also quite expensive
anyway we just wanted to give it a try
so here we are...

i finally able to meet the smartest people in my world
this person is the most brilliant one
you wondered who and why?
this person always being the bossy one
and i think most probably this person never being denied on all her requests
this person always want to pretend to be a good person
and push away all the responsibility that
she is supposed to take to other people
she even push away the responsibility that
might cause trouble to other people
and yet still trying hard to maintain her good reputation
WTF
screwed this idiot

that smartest people in my world, A
A is always the decision maker
not because not no one is willing to make the decision
but she is the one that complain about other people's choice
so to avoid trouble, she is always being the decision maker
HOWEVER, she is totally a communication-freak
she can never talk to stranger
she is scared of talking to stranger
she is the typical "kia si" people

there was the case:-
as i said, i need to go for Pasar Tani every Saturday
so i have a bunch of course mates will be my group members as well
we need to run our own business starting this week
so as usual, A decided to sell fruits
the decision maker is never start with anything
she just good at making lousy decision
and blaming other people for no reason
so we already informed the FAMA people that
we are selling fruits
and another group of my course mates will be selling vegetables
and they are getting their supplies from TPU
and i heard TPU is selling some fruits too
so A said we might as well get from TPU as our fruit supplier
the good thing is...
we will not be each other's competitors at the first place

who knows the other group suddenly changed their mind
they said they are selling vegetables + fruits
so when i heard about it
i was not thinking how to stop them from selling fruits
and being our competitor
i was only thinking where else should i get my fruits
this is supposed to be the normal thinking right
solve the problem ahead of us
so that we can move on
however the smartest and greatest A,
she go and talk to the other group,
saying they shouldn't have sell fruits
and tell to convince people not to sell any fruits
OMG
this is really the smartest act that i have ever seen
now not that we have one more competitor
i felt like we have gained one more enemy

so when A keep on complaining about others
BLA BLA BLA
i already sort out the solution
i told them we just have to get other supplier
anyway i am not trying to say
i am doing something heroic or anything
but at least i am not wasting time
on cursing other people and blaming other people
the world is full of competitors
you can't stop what other people intended to do
cause that's their own right to choose what they want to do
you don't own everybody in the world
and you don't have the right to tell others what they should do
while your own life is such a mess

so we went to the place to get our own supplier
we managed to get someone who is nice to talk to
he promised to help us out and being very helpful
so we ordered from him this noon
since we don't have the weighting machine with us
he promised to help us by making sure all the fruits
are almost the similar size
and he will quote the price for us
so i guess the whole noon
he will be prepare to pack our fruits for us
because he called me 20 minutes to ask me our business hour
i waited the final decision from the greatest queen
before i made the order
the funniest thing is that
i got the confirmed order quantity from another friend who is C

the reason is super simple
A told B to tell C
B told C to tell me
so the whole communication process went from
A -> B -> C-> Me
DAMN INEFFICIENT right?
who on earth will be such smart?
AGAIN
A would be
the greatest A just never will tell me her decision
perhaps she really think she is the queen
who has a lot of dayang and gong gong by her side
to transmit all her message to others

i am the one who made the call and dealt with him
because i will be the one who collect the supplies
i told him about our worries and problems
he promised to help us sort them out
so i am really thankful that i meet such a good supplier
and everything went well until i received the call at night
of course the call would be from C AGAIN

she said the greatest A said that
she had changed her mind on the amount of fruits that we ordered
so when i heard that
i got pissed and started cursing A on the phone
to my friend C
it took her sooooooooo many hours to change her mind
and the supplier already prepared everything for us

and now she want me to call him and told him
we want to change our order?

if you are so good in your decision making and planning
then you wouldn't have change ur order after the order is confirmed
if you are changing your mind so easily
then you should make the call all by yourself

WTF, i never close to you anyway, don't you dare to come and claim your birthday present from me using this way. you are just trying to steal money from other people's purse. especially from those who dare not to say NO to you. and FYI, i am the first person that is DARE TO SAY NO TO YOU, IDIOT!)

今天突然想起曾经自己是多么的喜欢Angel's Wing牌子的东东

那时候我还是在圣母念书
时常会和朋友跑去Ipoh Parade的Living Cabin
看看这，看看那
我最爱最爱的应该是Angel's Wing吧
Angel's Wing的文件夹啦，Angel's Wing的镜子啦，Angel's Wing的面纸啦等等还收着其中两个文件夹而已
我也不懂为什么会特别喜欢
就觉得它的Logo很美
所以很喜欢它的产品

今天在The Mines的Living Cabin逗留了一阵子
想找回当日所爱的Angel's Wing产品
还真得蛮难的
可惜我都无法google得到我所喜欢的那个logo啊~

如果拿来当wallpaper一定会很美

memory

lately i have been thinking a lot
thought about life back in primary school, in secondary school
all the life back in ipoh
just some random thoughts and memory
as all of my friends know...
i have a really bad memory
except for faces and names
maybe i am doing better for remember those
not to say those notes and facts that i am supposed to remember

MEMORY is very important for everybody
because we need it to be our guidance for future life challenge
because we need it to be our motivation when solving problems, especially when the problem is kind of like repetitive mistakes that we have made in our life

i just couldn't stand myself for having such a suck and useless memory
i guess i need not to wait until i am old enough
i might lost some of the treasured memory that i would never wanting to forget

just wake up half an hour ago to start revising for my exam tomorrow
technically another 2 more chapter to finish off
but theoretically i finished all the 3 chapters
but just remember nothing
anyway, i cant even remember a single thing....
...for the chapter that i just finished before i sleep

really thank god that it was at 3pm instead of 8am in the morning
at least i still can buy myself some time for the paper
after the tiring travel from KL-TI-IPOH-KL
totally headache earlier~
just had a can of redbull and sort of awake nw~ =)

GREAT day~!

today i went back to ipoh
just for an internship interview
a lot of people telling me that...
internship does not need to attend any interview
but so happened the company that called me up
requested me to go for interview
what else i can do?
i just have to be there
if i really wanted the opportunity~
so my whole day of travelling from KL-TI-Ipoh_KL
was super duper exhausting

anyway the most exciting part was that
i able to meet my best friends
able to catch up with them in a short lunch time break
only went to the nearest food court to settle our lunch
and able to chit chat a while when we're waiting for our food though
it's been more than one year that i never meet Vivi
and more than 2 months that i never Maria
really glad with this journey of going back
cause i really miss ipoh a lot
just too bad that i never get to eat the
Yeong Tau Fu and my fave Laksa this time
hopefully i will be going back soon
to eat my fave laksa, char kuey teow, taufu fah etc...
yummy~ i really miss ipoh food a lot~

I really thanks to Maria for being my driver
and bringing me everywhere i want to go
thanks to Maria & Vivi and her Bf
thanks for being there for me
when i was attending my scariest first ever formal interview
hahahaha
thanks for willing to spend your precious time
just to wait for me inside Maria's car~ ^^

so back to the interview
that was kinda of pissed me off
because the HR executive is supposed to meet me up at 3pm
who knows he just leave the office for a meeting at MBI ard 2 sth
and without informing me
meaning he totally forget about our appointment
=.=
so i waited at the guard house there
and waited for those pak cik guard to call up to the office
they called for a few people
and yet nobody is free to entertain
at the moment, i felt like fainting
because i came all the way from KL for the interview
and yet i guess i am losing the interview opportunity already
so i called that fella who is supposed to interview me
he got someone to call the pak cik guard
then they let me in straight away
some more they checked my body temperature
and it's 34 sth degree Celsius
this is awkward
i wondered is it their thermometer defective or something?
i am not cold blooded mammal
and some more the surrounding temperature is so high
super freaking hot and sunny outside there
and i was sweating crazily under the super hot sun
gosh~ i hate that feeling of sweating badly

so once i got in
i was given a application to fill in
after that i was asked to wait
AGAIN
because everybody is having a meeting
so i waited there quite sometime
and surprisingly i saw my lou po, Vivien
she is having her internship there as well
so i able to have a few words with her
and she told me some gossips of course~ lolx =P

so when someone came in
i was stunned
because i never expect there will be more than one interviewee
hahaha
guess that i really lack of the formal interview experience huh?
anyway later i heard that the guy that ffk on me
he is supposed to be there during the interview as well
cause he is the representative of the HR dept
so meaning there are supposed to be three of them
anyway, i guess i am lucky enough to get only TWO
cause TWO are more than enough for me already
the two interviewee came from different department too
Vincent, the marketing manager &
Lew, the assist. QA manager
for me, Vincent is kinda like the bossy type
Lew is more friendly
maybe because she is a girl
so i found that she is nicer to talk to
anyway after i leave the building
i felt the kind of relief that i never have before
if you ask me,
"How'd it go?"
my answer would be,
"i am kind of screwed up with this interview."
anyway i don't really put any high hope on that
until that guy that is supposed to meet me up at 3pm
texted me saying his colleagues are quite pleased with me
so he is sort of like giving me some hope la~
but then until today i still heard nothing from the company
haih~
so meaning i still gotta keep on searching
perhaps i should try with the Singapore hotels

once i am done with the interview
i went to yam cha with Maria, Vivi & her Bf in JJ
a lot of people are wearing masks
even more than from what i can see here
anyway i still manage to get masks in ipoh
and not as hard to get as in KL here
so we were yam cha-ing in JJ's Chatty Place
and i had the suckiest polo bun in my life

i really miss Chatty Cafe's polo bun
it reminds me a lot of my form 6 student life back then

and we saw the LANCOME roadshow in JJ
well, i never even realize there is LANCOME in ipoh
lolx~
a cool car
though i don't know its name

Malaysian Fascinating Gourmet 18.08.2009

my course mates who are majoring in food service

had organized some food events
they had one last Tue
but i did not go
because i don't feel like eating Japanese food
and I am only into sushi
instead of those Japanese food that come in set
so i choose to go for the second event

it cost me RM 15.90
which is RM 1 cheaper than the other one
hahahaha.. i am not trying to say i am saving that RM1
because the most important thing is that
i feel more confident with the second group
perhaps it's because of the people who are incharging
anyway it was quite an experience
and it proved to me one more thing
that is I don't really fine dining restaurant style
it's too uncomfortable for me
i don't really need to pay for other people to serve me
while I don't really need it
anyway perhaps i am still not to be that rich
to be having someone standing next to me
and serve me whenever i am done with one dish
