从小都没什么马来同胞的朋友
一直到了国民服役才第一次真正接触到马来人
除了少数比较平易近人的几个马来朋友外
我对其他马来同胞的印象还是很不好
到了大学，长期四年的对着马来系友
当中只有寥寥可数的马来朋友是比较好的
从以前第一年生开始到现在混熟了的
都没几个
可以说，全部都是很表面的朋友
总觉得说，有读过初级文凭的马来朋友会比较好人
当中包括了，　Wani 还有 Farhana
Farhana　是众多Management major 里头的马来朋友当中
和我混得最熟的一个
忘了是怎么开始和她开始比较谈得来
可是，总觉得她是很不错的朋友
或许我是比较喜欢和讲英文的马来朋友打交道吧
总觉得说，他们的思想也会比较开通
和他们交流　也不需特地的迁就他们说国语
虽然我的英文也不是太灵光
至少应该回比我的国语好很多倍

今天　我和两个系友跑出USJ
去拜访Farhana的新居
简简单单的家
很干净和舒服的感觉
除了电梯的问题
她住的地区真得很不赖
还有四个月
她就要当妈妈了
她说，应该是个儿子
可是她满失望的
因为她想要有个女儿
原因是她从没接触过小男生
她只有两个妹妹　没有弟弟
她老公是老么　所以也没和小男生相处过
哈哈～ 好可爱的两公婆
会为了这问题而担心

自从她结婚以后　我就没再看见她了
因为她都没在大学里出现过
只是通过MSN 及简讯和她保持联络
得知她怀孕了
很替她高兴
从ＦＢ看到她幸福的蜜月照片
真得很羡慕她
很高兴她能找到她的幸福了

很高兴她在祝贺我生日快乐的简讯里头
邀请我去她的新家凑凑热闹
由于是新婚家庭
所以没有长辈在家
不懂马来同胞派青包的定义是一样的吗？
还是只是小孩子才能拿青包呢？
真得很好奇

第一次尝试竹筒饭Lemang， Ketupat还有Rendang
其实Rendang的味道也不差于咖喱咯
真得很不错的尝试
第一次在开斋节拜访马来朋友

Sushi Zan Mai

从没试过Sushi Zan Mai的寿司

今天特地和嘉慧跑去试一试
由于本人的生日快到了
所以我的嘉慧干妈说要请我吃好料
可惜我太饿了
所以没来得及拍下寿司的照片
只来得及拍下甜品的照片
忘了是什么名堂
就有Cornflakes,绿茶雪糕，红豆，煎堆等等
一开始是觉得满美味的
可是到后来就觉得说
“还可以啦”

对于我来说
Sushi Zan Mai的寿司还好而已
我还是比较喜欢吃Sakae Sushi
好久没吃了 Sakae Sushi 了

Tenji

Early this morning
after went through all the traffic jamss of LDP
Jo and I went to HP building
that is located in Bkt Damansara
cause she need to fix her beloved lappie
that just went dead without saying goodbye
it only took us 10-15 minutes inside the building
so we have more than 1 hour time
before Tenji opens at 11am
and our reservation was at 11.30am
so we went in Cold Storage to do some shopping
of course just window shopping
because i never intended to bring along
some Cold Storage plastic with me
when i am eating inside Tenji
that look so auntie- like~ hahaha

this is my first time of going in Cold Storage
and i found this...Starbucks Frappucino

OMG~ i never know that starbucks
having these kind of product range
sold inside a supermarket

though i was bit excited to see it
but i didn't buy it at last
because i would rather purchase
the freshly made one in Starbucks cafe itself

other than this
i also found many HEINZ products inside Cold Storage
really really a lot
i never really realize the existence
of other Heinz product
other than Ketchup & Pasta Sauce

Thanks to Maria for telling me that
i can see Heinz product in Cold Storage
really.... a lot a lot of them

and guess what?
i had my phone interview with Heinz
inside cold storage
whereby i am walking around
following Jo to see things around

and i was quite sad and bit disappointed
after i finished my conversation with Miss Ivy

because although she, as the HR business partner
and she is based in Singapore
and she is a Singaporean
but she is not hiring interns to work in Singapore
instead working in KL
and it's in PJ
somewhere around Tropicana Golf & Country Resort

the good thing is we had a nice chat
at least for me~ lolx =p
she told me that the company in KL is a small one
because it's a trading company
and not a food factory
so there are only FOUR of them
who are working in the office

May - the Mktg Director of Msia & Vietnam
2 Product Manager & 1 Assist helping them
so there are only FOUR of them

they never hire any intern before
and "they might be taking me
since i am so keen to have my internship with them"
this is how Ivy told me
so perhaps my opportunity is quite high
because there is not any competition
i should say
how nice if they wanted me in Singapore
but i guess they still not really believing Msia Education System
that's why they don't want to take me in (in Sg)

anyway she said she will let me know...
i can't remember when is she going to let me know
guess i should not have do the interview
while i am walking around
and seeing things around me
at the same time

anyway it's still not my CUP OF TEA
in terms of the location
because i don't want it to be in KL or selangor
but in terms of company opportunity
i guess this is quite a good one
anyhow since the company is small
i guess i will be learning a lot from them
this is the thing that is tempting me~ ^^
because even if i keep on telling myself that
i don't want to go back to the food industry anymore
upon my graduation from Food Study
but then there is nothing absolute in this world
and my "beloved" brother keep on pressurizing me
to work in Nestle Malaysia once i grad
as if he own the company or i own it and i can go in whenever i want

anyway it's still early for me to think of all these
because they might not taking in any interns
or they might not picking me for the internship =(



ANYONE can get me an internship
that is far far away from KL or Selangor???

after the conversation for around half an hour
we headed to Tenji which is our destination of the day
since Tenji is having the Ramadhan Promotion
so i went over for my lunch with Jo

i never been to Tenji before until today

i like Tenji's logo very much compared to Jogoya's
however after i patronized Tenji with Jo today
i'm totally disappointed with Tenji
and i don't think i will be spending a single cent there
ANYMORE unless upon special request
if u know me, u should know i will do whatever it takes for me to stay away from Tenji

we are still waiting outside

first thing first, they let us waited for half an hour
even though we have made our reservation earlier
because they are having some so-called "problem"
so we gotta wait in a room for half an hour
we were being served with coconut and
a small slices of super lembik durian cheese cake
that i finished it off the moment i got it
cause i was really starving that time!! lolx~~
so i just took a picture
of the emptied plate and the coconut that i got

Upon my request~ so we took 1 picture there
while still waiting for them to get prepared

this is very disappointing
because even it's a buffet restaurant
we still pay for the service charges on our bill
and yet we were ask to wait~ argh~
i wondered
what's the purpose of having reservation system??
somemore none of them really inform us
that we gotta wait for half an hour
until we approach them and
ask them when our reservation time is up
what kind of service attitude is this? =.=

after entering the premise
i feel like the place is not really that big
there were not much choices of food available in there
meaning there is not much things that i am fancy of
cause i don't eat raw food
so my choice were even lesser

next thing is
i felt like i am being conned lolx
because i don't see any BR ice-cream around lo~
the only thing i saw was Haagen Daaz
and even it is written there as Haagen Daaz
but i am definitely doubtful with the brand of HD
because i just ate the most cream-iest type of ice-cream
not because it is creamy
but it is really watery like cream~!!!
OMG~ beh tahan~~
it taste really sucks~ WHY WHY WHY~
if it's really HD
why would the taste is so bad~
ARGH~~
is it because i am too choosy?
i considered myself to be
the most not choosy people in my family
but i really not going to be Tenji repeat customer EVER

anyway since i paid for the buffet
i tried to eat as much as i can
but i just couldn't eat much
BECAUSE
there is not much that i am interested to eat
there is not much tasty food around
the end result is that
my mood of wanting to take lotsa pictures is all GONE~!!
totally not in the right mood

why yummy looking?
the reason is darn simple
this is all because it really taste sucks~
i feel like i am eating the creamy Tiramisu DRINKS
instead of eating a piece of Tiramisu Cake

Jo asked me Tiramisu is a cake or appetizer?
i was totally speechless because Tiramisu obviously is CAKE

the good thing of the day was
i able to meet Yee May accidentally in Tenji today
it's been really really long time since i last saw her
i guess should be more than 3 years gua~
if i am not wrong, i think i saw her once in IJO last time
she still recognise me though
just that she calling me Jessie
instead of Siew Teng
lolx~~

at the end of the day
i told myself that
i am not going for any buffet anymore
except for Bibiwok

After all, Bibiwok is still my favorite buffet restaurant
i really like their service there~ ^^
their staffs are verypolite
and we are being served really well inside there

whereas Jogoya has a lot of staffs standing next to you
REALLY NEXT TO YOU
and watching you when you're eating
even though i am not sure
whether they are really watching us
but it felt like that
because their staff will just standing there
looking around and tried to collect all the used plates
the first moment they saw any of them

when i am about to leave
i saw there's a suggestion form or box or whatsoever
i really thought of dropping them a comment
but too bad that i am rushing off
i guess Tenji should hire more staffs
so that it would not be so hard for us to call for service or help
and their food variety should be increase lo

OVERALL,i prefer Jogoya than Tenji

BUT i love Bibiwok the best

Bubba Lunch

since Maria & her family is coming over to KL

so i get the chance to hang out with her
luckily i did not have any class on that day
thank god for that
but then mana tau when i was there
Maria told me she is cabut-ing with her IMU friends around 2pm

so i was stunned
cause i planned to be there for few hours
and she just tell me that
she is going to One U with her other friends after lunch
so initially i was thinking
i have to shopping alone in sunway pyramid
before i heading home around 5 sth
we couldn't make up our mind on what to eat for lunch
so again, we are referring to the Directory Board
the first shop we headed to was Shogun
because i knew that they are having lunch promotion at 35%
who knows when we were there
the queue is like damn looong
and ambiance inside there was super hectic
so we waited for a while
to see whether there is any table available
anyway since of the stupidity of the waiter
we chose to leave the restaurant
without checking the table availability

so we headed for Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. instead
i heard food there are very nice
but the price also quite expensive
anyway we just wanted to give it a try
so here we are...

after the expensive and satisfied lunch
we left the place and head for TGV
finally i got to watch GI JOE!
have been hearing a lot of nice comments and reviews
for this movie
just that i still haven't get the chance to watch it

it was darn nice
at least much much much more better than District 9
it was quite a disappointment from Peter Jackson
anyway, GI Joe got many hotties and hot babes
hahaha..
a lot of cool high-techie weapons
cool one~~

Malaysian Fascinating Gourmet 18.08.2009

my course mates who are majoring in food service

had organized some food events
they had one last Tue
but i did not go
because i don't feel like eating Japanese food
and I am only into sushi
instead of those Japanese food that come in set
so i choose to go for the second event

it cost me RM 15.90
which is RM 1 cheaper than the other one
hahahaha.. i am not trying to say i am saving that RM1
because the most important thing is that
i feel more confident with the second group
perhaps it's because of the people who are incharging
anyway it was quite an experience
and it proved to me one more thing
that is I don't really fine dining restaurant style
it's too uncomfortable for me
i don't really need to pay for other people to serve me
while I don't really need it
anyway perhaps i am still not to be that rich
to be having someone standing next to me
and serve me whenever i am done with one dish
