when i needed support the most, he is always there

even though he tends to be "uncle" a bit and be naggy

but I know he care about me..

just like how naggy I am to him :P

Isk, Nini, Jane, Jessie, Leng, Sandee, William

i have been with Heinz since the day i have started my internship with them

It's almost two years i have been with the company and i am going to say good bye to the company and to all my dearest colleagues..

It's really hard for me to say goodbye, especially to the few of them that has such a strong bond with me since the day i have joined the company.

First person would be my bestie in the company, Ms Mak, but i prefer to call her "Ah Leng". She called me the same name as well. :) this is our way to address each other everywhere since some time last year i guess?! She is an awesome mom with two kids and i love listening to her kids' stories a lot ^^ she has a really warmth and happy family! :D i am glad that Ah Leng is stand by me, almost everytime i need advice, help and support. I remembered how touched i was when she is offering me her help when i really needed some moral support! thanks Ah Leng! i feel honored and glad to know you as my colleague and friend! I hope you are not too bother with my bombastic family stories and boring stories from time to time throughout this two years.

The next person would be my boss, Nini. I still remember how she had stood by me when i cried the first time in the office after talking to one of the customers we have! It was a long-winded uncle who intend to vent his anger on me when i called him the first time. She was my boss since day 1 i have joined Heinz family until the day i leave the company. i am glad that i was able to help her when the company only left like 3-4 persons in Msia office when there are 2 PMs leaving the company within 3 months without any immediate personnel replacement. I did learn a lot here n there throughout the months that we have been through.

Jessica, or we called her "Dai Gar Jie" would be the next person who i really feel thankful to have her around when i was in Heinz. She is such a great and experienced marketer that she will be able to analyze things in a greater picture and i am always amazed by her ability of doing that. For the past few months, i have learnt a lot from her, especially when she handed over the social media project to me when the project has launched 6 months ago. I like having discussion with her on her thoughts and comments whenever i sent her some proposals or my small thoughts on the issue or matter to be shared on the FB page or etc. Thanks Jessica for all the guidance you have given to me.

Jane, who joined us a little bit later (end of last year) has enlightening me a lot on her expertise - trade marketing. Honestly, i think i will never know what's this side of stories if she have never join the company and Heinz is not hiring one that time. I thought that was only marketing and i have expected that trade marketing is something different and yet difficult for a marketer to handle if you do not have a strong background on the trade and all. She is definitely a doctor for many things in the office - from personal life, love life, and even work life. she is always able to provide some great advice and manage to console people using her jokes and laughs.

i am so gonna miss the cari makan gang that we have and i really hope that i am still one of the gang member even though i am no longer with the company! it's great to have known all of you and i will definitely treasuring the friendship that we have (at least this is what i have in my mind).

Hopefully i will be having a good start with the new company and new colleagues soon! i knew that it's not possible for me to stay in Heinz forever with you all but i do know that it's possible for us to remain our friendship forever and ever!

Can't wait for next month's gathering to celebrate Nini's birthday together as well as the January CNY cooking workshop! :) i am also expecting our cari makan outings!! ^^

this is actually being displayed at the restaurant

the most natural and cheap skin care products available in Myanmar

women in Myanmar all have Tanaka applied on their face

To apply the Tanaka, you will have need water and the piece of Tanaka wood as above.

Basically i find that Myanmar people don't have much pimples!

i wonder if this Tanaka is the main reason....

What A "LUCKY" Day

Wow.. it's been a long while since i last updated my blog

and i just realized that i rarely have written anything

throughout the whole year of 2010

i guess i am still more comfortable with

bloggong with my lousy English

after all not much people visiting it anyway

it's SATURDAY and went for movie with Valerie

but before the movie time

i feel like having some exercise!

so I have arranged with her earlier

for me to drop by her place for a swimming session

before we go for our lunch and movie at noon

and then i receive a SURPRISE OF THE DAY from the PDRM

i parked my car along the road outside of her apartment building

AS USUAL

but today i found a piece of paper with some beautiful handwriting

lying on my babie's windscreen

a summon that stated I parked my car illegally

and obstructed the traffic on the road

indeed my car is not!! Bloody Hell

the funniest thing is no summone amount was written

so Val helped to check with her friend and even her boss

anyway, we only managed to figure out the amount of the summon

when we are at the traffic police summon payment counter~

it's RM 100... Ladies and Gentlemen...

now i can remember very well...

what's so different between a summon given by the local authorities and police

anyway perhaps i am "LUCKY" enough

with the discounted summon period still on going

so i managed to get 50% discount at RM 50 instead

well.. it's kinda like a bonus to me already

at least it's not 100 bucks

but this is the most expensive swimming trip

that i have ever experienced

today managed to get some free movie tickets from Hilary

who works in Cathay Cineplex

finally we managed to watch 127 hours today!

this movie has get itself a seat on my To-Watch-List

ever since i came across with a post card

with the movie synopsis and poster printed on

when i was in Singapore Clarkquay for a drink with colleagues

the actor, James Franco was being nomited for so many awards

but too bad that he did not able to win any yet

Aron Ralston definitely someone who is care free and funny

i think his memory and his illusions

kinda save him from passing out

even sooner than 127 hours he was stuck in the Blue John Canyon

honestly the part whereby he cut off his arms

really made me feel very uneasy

and i don't even feel like watching it with my own eyes

i just covered my face with my hands and

i just tried to peek the screen through my fingers

but i heard it's quite real..

sorry that i was being so a coward

that part is really darn grossed MAN!

no kidding...

it's really not that simple for Aron to do that

when he was stucked there 8 years ago!!

who would be able to chop off their hand just like that

it's been a while since i last stepped into the cinema

today i went for the premier screening of

THE OTHER GUYS

thanks to Don

i managed to get two movie passes

to watch this movie

thanks to Maria for the accompany

too bad we didn't get to dine in Sushi Tei

bad and lousy service before i even get a chance

to try out their food there

such a shame

before i watch the movie

i would think that it's actually an action movie

not until the moment i burst into crazy laughter

when the movie get started

i just can't help myself stop laughing

from the start until the end

the movie is basically telling two cops

who are being teamed up together

but they are a TOTAL mismatched NYPD team member

one is always being very steady (just like maria)

while the other one always being so grumpy and aggressive

(sounds a lil' bit familiar)

there are too many crazy scenes

that you can ever imagine

but definitely wouldn't expect that to be

really happening in the real life

the first crazy scene would be no doubt

The Rock and Samuel L. Jackson

drove their car recklessly

when they're trying to be the stars

or i should say heroes

just to chase after the suspect or criminals

until their whole car stuck inside the middle of the bus

OMG!

and yet they could still continue to

go after those bad guys

what a joke!

initially i thought the wife, Sheila

might be undercover arranged by the bad guys

because Eva does not seems to be a small character

and i never seen her being one in other movie

hahaha.. apparently i "think" too much jorrr

anyway this is a really funny movie

i would say it's more of a comedy than an action movie

it's a really relaxing one

and i guarantee that you'd feel your jaw is tired of the non-stop laughssss

September just passed like that

initial plan was a total failure

since September is my favourite month

*wink*

apparently the most obvious reason would be

my birthday falls on the month of September

i would love to blog as much as i can in this one whole month

but then mana tau i have ZERO post in September!

i think i require at least a few weeks

to catch up what had happened to myself

in this lovely month!

had lotsa fun and had some crazy outings

knew a bunch of new friends

and had so many yummy food!

even though i promised to submit my "report"

for the Malaaca report by last Friday

but apparently it was a total failure

i barely sit there and write!

bet i need to tidy up my lappie's wallpaper

and clear out my desktop's stuff

before i could start blogging with all sorts of nice photos i took!

honestly nice photos for me would meant for

good and unbeatable memories

as i am no expert in any lighting

and i don't think i am pandai pandai

to take any high quality photos with my little S90~ hehehe

still loving it and pray hard to have time

to learn and practice more with my beloved camera!

it's Sunday!

it's Sunday and we head out for some shopping

Don't think I'm some sort of shopaholic

because i do not think i am one

as i didn't buy anything yesterday from Sunway Pyramid

but i did buy something today

we went to Midvalley today

because Mrs Ong need to get eye brow shaping at Empro

so we went there despite of the craziness of getting parking there

and i bet the luck is with us today

the parking is not as full as the usual Sunday

=)

we went in Metrojaya as I requested

because i wanted to get myself a new purse

However when we got in there

i felt that my mum and my sis are so excited

and started to look around

and we totally forgot the purpose that we are going in

so we spent time walking around

looking at the clothes la and etc

anyhow we manage to grab some

before we headed to the Bag department

I found a number of long and thin purse that is made of leather

however their designs are just so so

and nothing impressed me at all

until the SA shown me this!!

and i knew that i fall in love with it

the moment i saw it

it's quite bloody expensive

at least for me

but i really hope that it's worth it

and i consult Jennie before i really made up my mind

LOL

thank god that she is fast enough to reply me through MSN

yea yea~~ and i bought that even though it has only 30%

it cost me RM140

it's even more expensive that the handbag that my mum got for herself

which is just RM100

by looking at the size and the ratio

then you would know why did i said it's bloody expensive

even though i saw another Elle purse too

but at the end i chose Valentino Rudy instead

because Elle's is quite bulky comparative to this that i've bought

love it very much!! ♥

Yesterday went to Sunway Pyramid with Jo

for some shopping and some survey checking on camera

So happen that was a roadshow for Panasonic with other brands

We went to check out the Lumix Camera Models

which people always make some comparison with Canon S90

We went for Canon to ask the SA on the latest best price that he could quote me again

We also check out from Fotokem on the real comparison of the color effect and etc.

And finally I have made up my mind to go for Canon brand

Because I still prefer the user friendliness and color that Canon provided

Just that I'm thinking whether I should wait up for the latest model to be launched

with just a slight advanced function compared to the previous one

for me to get either the old model with much cheaper price

or get the latest model with a higher price of course

such a huge dilemma because while i am waiting

i am letting go the chance of getting 1+2 yrs warranty!!

GOSH

Anyway because of my carelessness

our shopping day has to end earlier

I thought I have lost my watch while we were running in and out

of fitting rooms and everywhere of Sunway Pyramid

so Jo and I went back to the shops that we went in earlier

anyhow we didn't find anything

because we can't be finding anything

as my watch is still lying on my table at home!!

hahahahahaa...

gosssshhhh~ it was the first thing i did when i reached home

to check on my table to see whether my watch is there

i really got freaked out badly the moment

i thought that i have lost my Elle Watch

i am really having phobia of losing my belongings

that cost me not a small amount of $$

the craziest thing was i can't really remember

how my watch looks like when i am trying so hard

to remember how does it look like in my memory but i CAN'T AT ALL!!

i really have some sort of memory lost

that is getting more and more serious~

would be another enjoyable for me

but at least i could rest well

今天是我第一次和中国的同事teleconferencing

我真得快要晕倒了

他们的华语实在是太好了

每当我不明白向他们发问的时候

大家就以为我不明白华语

立刻翻译成英语给我

哈哈哈哈

真得满搞笑的说

就连新加坡的同事的华语也蛮好的

让从小就读华校的我觉得超级不好意思的

让我无端端变成只是认识一点点华语而已

现在我终于明白我的同事的意思了

我们的华语程度，和中国人相比之下

真的是远远的给比下去了

我想也该是时候恶补一下我那不见的人的华语了～

毕竟我不是个香蕉人

Monday

Monday Blur is always what i like to say

instead of the Monday Blue that everyone had been saying

because i always looked super blur on Monday

regardless of what time i go to bed the night before

today it was relaxing and not exactly a blur one for me

since my boss is taking off for her business trip today

she only came in for half a day

so we went for lunch without her today

i think i brought up the issue of telling them

i wanted to go for eye brow shaping in Bangsar

after i left MidValley yesterday

and this is the moment you could see

how WOMEN who have the same interest behaved

when someone talked about something that they're fond of

Jessica got sooooo excited when i mentioned about

Bangsar

EyeBrow Shaping

indeed it's known as Threading

therefore she started to share with her stories

she realized that many people like to go for eyebrow shaping in Bangsar

regardless of where they are staying

initially i was thinking she is taking about this shop called

Rupinis that CK recommended to me much earlier

so she started to introduce this shop that she always go to

and then someone suggested for us to go there tomorrow's lunch hour

of course i would not be encourage that to be happened

because there're still people who are not interested

and what if we went for a longer lunch break

or traffic is really too bad until

we only could get back to the office very late?

so i suggested for us to go straight away

after work TODAY

wow~ i love the "ohm" of having us to go on that day!

Since Jessica is super familiar with Bangsar area

so she is driving both of us going there

she use all the small lanes and roads that i can't even be sure

whether i would be able to go back to the same place

the next time i wanted to go there again

pray hard that i could still remember the route to go over

unfortunately the shop was closed when we got there

the excitement and "ohm-ness" earlier kinda all gone already

we are sort of lucky in some sense though

because the shop next door is still doing business

so we went there and gave it a try instead

the effect was quite satisfying though =)

i am amazed with the effect of Threading

the Indian lady barely spend more than 3 minutes

to get rid of all the unwanted eye brow hair

and she is really fast and efficient

i would say we are super lucky that day

because the crazy traffic jam that

always can be seen on Sprint H/Way were all gone!!

the roads are 100% cleared!

this is really super fantastic because we used just

one hour for us to travel back and fro! =D

Parenthood Expo 2010

i have been working for Parenthood Expo for the passed 3 days

it's my first participation in Baby Fair as a permanent staff in Heinz

the good thing was i worked the funny gang from Summit

they're always being so nice and sweet, as usual

whenever i'm working with them

i would never have a chance or have a minute

of feeling my stomach is empty!

Christine is always gonna bring sandwiches or kuih to the booth

or else someone would be bringing Chocolates or any snacks

and keep at the booth for our own consumptions

during all the three days

On the first day

Amber Chia dropped by the event

she was invited by a number of participants of the event

because they wanted to sponsor her

some equipments or hampers for her baby

Christine and my kaima, Hooi Ping immediately jump to her side

and wanted to take photo with her

so i just follow suit once i was being their photographer

mana tau Christine is not really a good photographer

it ended up mine look soooooo blurred! =(

luckily she's still around and i manage to request for "second chance"

and i was working there as usherette cum promoter

but then this is my first time that manage to take a photo with her

even those middle eastern man also came up

to take photo with her together with his daugher~

random updates

has been under a lot of stress lately

just not in the mood to update the blog

i have friends started to ask

why am i not updating the blog lately?

and all i could answer was i am too lazy

i knew i am lazy to update this

but apart from that

i think i just need to get some time to do these

intern life has over already

started with the working life

nothing much has changed

same colleagues, same destination everyday

anyway i am expecting the relocation of the office!

at least i would be sitting cubicles in the new office later!

speaking of being a working adult

honestly i felt that it's nothing special

except for you got paid and you try so hard to save money

and at the same time also spending money like crazy

comparing to university student's life

i guess i understood why are working adults

keep on complaining how sucks are working life

it's all because of the long working hours

and the stress that you're going to cope with

no more a few hours class in a day

no more sneaking out for movies in the middle of a day

OF COURSE with student price!!

no more going for some shopping on weekdays

it sounds really a lil' bit pathetic though

because going for movies or shopping during weekdays

are the best thing ever!!

lots and lots of parking space waving to you

no long queue for getting tickets

*sigh*

just get back from Sunway Pyramid

up to this moment

finally i managed to get all the clothes that i need

i never experience this before

as in until 2 days before the CNY

i am still hunting for clothes everything

i am not too sure

whether i am getting more and more "yim jim"

or clothes available out there

do not really look nice enough for me

LOL...

anyway this year is gonna be a different year!

i bought RED clothes

if you're close enough to me

you should heard i have told you before that

i don't like red colour clothes at all

and i don't have any red shirts

except for those club T shirt that

i am obliged to pay and wear the shirt

or even when i am give a red shirt

when i am working

i know it's kinda late

but at this moment

i'm still looking for some accessories

i tried to look for them in some shops in Pyramid

but i just couldn't get anything i like

all shops seems to be having a small amount of left over merchandises

available in the outlet

this is the worse part of getting CNY clothing

at the last minute

because all the nice things would be grabbed by someone else.

anyhow this year i bought a piece of cheongsam

it's is very expensive

but i just love it =)

better halau away my tummy

before i am fitting myself in!

anyway after the incident in TS

i really need something ANG ANG

to save me out of all the shits

Cervical Cancer Vaccination

Just get back from a Focus Group Discussion

the research company is Synovate

which is located in Menara IGB

i had to rush over from the office

because it was raining very heavily

and thank god that i was able to sneak out

from the office 15minutes earlier

and just because of the minor flood issue

the topic is basically related to

Cervical Cancer Vaccination

i am sure cervical cancer

is not a new term

for everyone of us

especially the ladies

anyhow not all of us will be aware of the vaccination

or else some of us knew about the vaccination

but we never bother to figure that out

because most people will be having the mindset

as in

"wait and see first" policy

same goes for myself

the first time i came across with

Cervical Cancer Vaccination

was 1 or 2 years ago

someone i knew shared me

a You Tube video

it took me 10 minutes to trace back this video

the same one that i have watched before

Gabby Swank

she took the vaccination called Gardasil

and she had to say good bye to her health forever

this is really saddening

i talked to one of the Doctor

regarding these side effects of the

cervical cancer vaccination

but she only told me

that time was just the beginning of the vaccine

being invented

therefore some people have problems with it

GOSH.. as if it's their own fault

if their body can't get along with the vaccine

and started to have seizure

or other health problems coming up

i felt like she might be one of those

irresponsible doctor that

just want to get people to get the jab

because she don't really bother

to explain much to me

except for telling me

you better get the jab now

the early the better

BUT she never tell me some important information

such as how is it protect you

if you are taking the vaccination

or is it FULLY protected from all kinds of viruses

perhaps i just never believe in her

i did talk about this with Yee Lin before

her advice to me was to get the jab as early as possible

the younger to get the vaccination

the better it is

she once told me there's actually

a range of age for a better effect or something like that

basically the focus group discussion

is to get our opinions and

to see how much do we know and understand

about the vaccination

it was my first FGD

and i was sooo nervous before i got there

cause my colleague told me

it's quite formal and client might be watching

at the back of the 1 sided mirror!

gosh..

that's really depressing

the situation was harmony back there

i tried to tell whatever i know

i tried to share all my thoughts

i am not sure whether it was good enough for them

but what i am trying to say is that

i tried my best to participate!

not so sure whether others feel the same way though

luckily it was a relaxing one

i like the moderator, Jennifer

she's a very friendly person

enjoy meeting new people there

and i get to know Miss Renee there

we lived like so close (Jalil Damai)

but we never know each other until today

LOL

anyway

at the end of the FGD

i said i am going to take the vaccination in 1-2 years time

AFTER i manage to figure out all the

statistics as well as cases that

related to side effects of allergy

after having the cervical cancer vaccination

just praying hard that

there will be some kind of workshops

that educate Malaysian ladies more

about the issues

both the cervical cancer itself

as well as the information from 'A' to 'Z' related to the vaccination
